HGTV’s Egypt Sherrod & Mike Jackson Share Rare Photos of Daughter as She Turns 25

Egypt Sherrod and Mike Jackson‘s eldest child, daughter Simone, turned 25 on September 21, and the former HGTV stars celebrated with Instagram tributes. The posts included rare photos of Simone, whom Jackson welcomed in 2002 during a previous relationship.

“Everybody scream Happy Birthday to my big baby Simone! She is 25 today,” Sherrod captioned her post. “Brilliant, beautiful, and we are so proud of her out here living her best life.”

In his tribute, Jackson wrote, “On this day 25 years ago my life changed in so many ways. When Simone was born everything sounded, felt, looked, smelt different. To one of the main reasons why I want the world to be a better place; Happy Birthday My Love. I’m so proud of you. I’m blessed to be your father. You’re going to see and do some amazing things.”

Fans flooded the comments section of both posts with birthday messages for Simone, with many also pointing out how much she looks like her father. “Happy birthday beautiful! Mike’s twin,” one person wrote, while another said, “Happy 25th Birthday! She’s beautiful and you two are twins.”

Sherrod and Jackson tied the knot in 2010 and went on to welcome two more daughters. Kendall Jackson was born in 2012, followed by Harper in 2019. The couple hosted Married to Real Estate on HGTV from 2022 to 2025, but it was one of the shows that was not renewed amid a flurry of cancellations last year.

However, Sherrod and Jackson have recently been teasing new shows, telling USA Today earlier this year that they have shows called Home Abroad with Egypt and Mike and Deserving Design in the works.

Sherrod gave an update in August, writing on Instagram, “Sometimes a setback is a setup for a QUANTUM LEAP. We are back to business. New show loading.” She also included a BTS video from filming one of the news series.
