Al Roker & Deborah Roberts Celebrate Major Relationship Milestone With Sweet Tributes

Al Roker and Deborah Roberts have been a TV power couple for over three decades.

Roker was married to his late ex-wife, Alice Bell, from 1984 to 1994, and the pair share a daughter, Courtney. He and Roberts later tied the knot in 1995, and welcomed their daughter, Leila, and son, Nick, in 1998 and 2002, respectively.

On Wednesday, September 16, the couple each took to social media to commemorate their 31st wedding anniversary. “It was 31 years ago that everything changed and only for the better, when, in a lack of judgement, @debrobertsabc said ‘yes’ and we began an adventure that still thrills to this day. #happyanniversary to us!” Roker captioned his Instagram upload.

The weatherman’s post featured a montage of photos, including snaps from his and Roberts’ wedding as well as of them together and with family over the years. “She KNEW what a wonderful human being you are – then & now,” one fan gushed in the comments. “Happy 31 st Anniversary to a wonderful couple.”

Another exclaimed, “HAPPY ANNIVERSARY. YOU TWO WERE MEANT TO BE.” Someone else shared, “You both knew what wonderful beings you both are! You both bring so much happiness that’s truly needed in the world. Happy Celebrating!!”

Roker’s Today co-host Sheinelle Jones commented, “Love you both forever and ever!!!! Happy Anniversary!!!” Roberts also hopped in the comments, writing, “Never knock it off! Happy anniversary my love!”

Roberts shared several throwback and recent pics of the pair in an Instagram post of her own on Wednesday. “31 years since we swayed to these beautiful lyrics on the wedding dinner dance floor,” she wrote. “31 years of unforgettable memories and moments. Let’s keep twirling my love. Happy anniversary.”

In another Wednesday post, Roberts posted photos from her and Roker’s romantic anniversary dinner. Roberts embraced her inner bride in a white dress, while Roker wore a tan suit. “A beautiful night filled with joy and pure gratitude for all the good wishes. Thank you. #blessed #grateful,” she lovingly captioned the snaps.

One fan shared in the comments, “Omg happy anniversary you two. Uncle Al, you have been my inspiration to get walking every day. Deborah your professionalism is inspiring. More importantly, is the family you two have raised. You have my respect and wish for continuing your live story, I’ll be 49 in June!”

Another user stated, “Happy anniversary to an amazing couple w LOTS of style!” A separate commenter said, “Happy, happy Anniversary! Thank you for sharing your love – georgeous [sic] inside and out!”
