Get ready to return to the tent, because a new season of The Great British Baking Show is heading to Netflix.

The beloved baking competition series (a.k.a. The Great British Bake Off in the U.K.) returns with a new batch of episodes this fall. As in seasons past, the latest cast of amateur bakers will put their skills to the test in the hopes of earning a Paul Hollywood handshake, being crowned Star Baker, and ultimately being named as the show’s new champion.

“Each week, the bakers face Signature, Technical, and Showstopper challenges designed to test their creativity, skill, and nerves,” Collection 14’s official description reads. “One baker will be sent home, and one will rise to become this season’s winner.

The new season will mark the first without former judge Prue Leith, who announced her exit from the series back in January. “Bake Off has been a fabulous part of my life for the last nine years, I have genuinely loved it, and I’m sure I’ll miss working with my fellow judge Paul, Alison [Hammond] and Noel [Fielding] and the teams at Love Productions and Channel 4,” she shared in an Instagram statement at the time.

Leith continued, “But now feels like the right time to step back (I’m 86 for goodness sake!), there’s so much I’d like to do, not least spend summers enjoying my garden. Whoever joins the team, I’m sure they’ll love it as much as I have. I feel very lucky to have been part of it.”

Not long after, it was announced that TV personality and cookbook author Nigella Lawson would take over Leith’s role.

As usual, U.K. viewers can watch the new season’s episodes a few days before U.S. fans. The series premieres on Channel 4 in the U.K. on Tuesday, September 22, with new episodes airing on Tuesdays.

The Collection 14 first look gives fans their first glimpse at the 12 lucky bakers selected to compete this season, as well as some of the baking challenges they will complete in the tent. Some new changes include the introduction of an Audience Choice Week, a fashion-themed challenge, and family members of the cast lending them a helping hand.

The trailer also gives a glimpse at Lawson in Leith’s former judging role. “Don’t let the sugar shout. Let it sing,” she advised the bakers. One contestant remarks, “I can’t believe that she has entered the series where I am going to be on the show.”

The teaser ends on a shocking note, as Hollywood and Lawson are unable to stop a contestant’s hat-shaped cake from falling off a mannequin and onto the floor during judging.
