Odds are you don’t need much convincing to watch Animal Planet’s crowning jewel, a popular Super Sunday tradition. What is not to love about two hours of a bunch of puppies frolicking on a fake football field, with a human ref throwing flags for offenses like “unnecessary ruffness”? There’s a wide array of pups (all adoptable), and, just to ensure cat people don’t feel left out, a Kitty Half-Time Show. This year’s performer is “Katty Furry,” for the pun-lovers out there.
