HGTV’s Christina Haack Throws Subtle Shade at Alix Earle’s Netflix Show

Christina Haack tuned in to Alix Earle‘s new Netflix reality show and shared her candid thoughts about it on social media.

Earle, who is best known as a social media influencer and runner-up on Dancing With the Stars Season 34, stars alongside her family on the new Netflix series Earle Meets World, which premiered on September 4. The show follows the ups and downs of the internet personality’s personal, romantic, professional, and family life.

While tuning in to Earle Meets World, Haack gave her honest review of the series in a Friday, September 11, Instagram Story post. “I tried for 5 mins for ‘research’ and I don’t get it,” she wrote. “My coffee date conversation with @kyliejwing today was 1000x more interesting and entertaining.”

Haack noted that the series simply wasn’t her cup of tea. “Back to murder documentaries,” she added. “The Pastor’s Wife is so good btw.” In the clip, Haack said to her social media followers, “I know I’m old, but this show’s so boring.”

Haack then turned on the Netflix original series Ginny & Georgia instead. “While I have you guys, I manifested [my boyfriend] Chris [Larocca], I realized, when I was watching Ginny & Georgia Season 1,” she said in another Instagram Story clip. “Chris literally is, I don’t know what his name is, Paul. I should know that. It’s my dad’s name. Chris legit is Paul from Ginny & Georgia. And if you’ve seen it, you know he’s the mayor.”

She went on to joke, “And I’m not saying that I’m Georgia, but you know, we have a few things in common. P.S. this show is good. Way better than that other show. At least it’s entertaining.”

While Earle Meets World marks Earle’s first reality series, Haack has been on the small screen for several years. She rose to fame alongside her first husband, Tarek El Moussa, on HGTV‘s Flip or Flop, which ran for 10 seasons from 2013 to 2022.

Haack has appeared on several HGTV shows over the years, including Brother vs. Brother, Barbie Dreamhouse Challenge, Christina in the Country, Christina on the Coast, and Bachelor Mansion Takeover.

Haack is currently filming Season 2 of HGTV’s The Flip Off with Tarek and his wife, Heather Rae El Moussa. The series follows the trio as they compete to earn the biggest return on investment for their house flips.

Haack shares her two eldest kids, Taylor and Brayden, with Tarek, as well as her youngest son, Hudson, with her second husband, Ant Anstead. Haack, who later married and divorced Josh Hall, has been dating Larocca since 2024. (Tarek shares his youngest child, son Tristan, with Heather.)
