‘Big Brother 28’ Week 8: Who Is the First Jury Member?

After Haley Thogmartin went home during Big Brother‘s medieval twist, the jury phase of the game started. A whole new week of Big Brother played out. Another Houseguest was evicted and they became the first member of the jury.

With only nine people left in the house, the lines are drawn in the sand. Everyone is trying to make it to the end, have good jury management, and make big moves.

Zingbot arrived to roast the Houseguests, giving them insults that they couldn’t help but laugh at. He then came to host the Head of Household competition.

Here’s what went down in week eight of Season 28 of Big Brother.

HOH: Drew Campbell won the competition, giving him his first HOH win. The Houseguest had to answer a series of questions that related to the videos Zingbot was in. Whoever had the most correct answers after seven questions won. He was tied with Melody Morris and Yash Patel. Drew was the closest on the tiebreaker question, becoming the new HOH.

Nominees: Drew had a tough decision to make. Not being aligned with only three people in the house, he decided to put up Taylor Brown, Yash, and LaTrice Verrett. They thought he should have put up the icons (Season 26’s Angela Murray, Survivor‘s Dee Valladares, and Rick Devens), but since he was in the Crossovers alliance with them, he decided not to.

Power of Veto: After flawlessly delivering his balls to one side of the balance beam and not having any fall off, Yash won the POV. He obviously took himself off the block, forcing Drew to show his cards and pick a side. He didn’t want to put up Barrett Pfeiffer, who he said was his closest ally, and in the Crossovers with the icons. He also promised Melody, his flirtmance, that he wouldn’t put her up.

That left the three icons. Devens volunteered to go on the block to keep Dee safe. Drew figured since Dee put him up last week, he could put her up, but he decided to play it safe and put up Devens.

Blockbuster: Devens won the Blockbuster. In this competition, Houseguests had to run into a ball pit to collect their balls. Then, they had to run up stairs and drop it over a railing into a tube. The first Houseguests to get four balls into their tube won. Taylor and Devens were very close.

Evicted: In a four-to-two vote, LaTrice was evicted. Angela and Melody chose to evict Taylor. LaTrice became the first member of the Jury.
