‘The Price Is Right’ Contestant Wins Car In Near-Perfect Game
He had a lot of luck on his side. A contestant on The Price Is Right won a car after he only had to guess one number in a near-perfect game.
Rogelio Garcia appeared on the game show on July 1. His game was posted to TPIR‘s Instagram on August 28. “Really rolled the dice on that one! #PriceIsRight,” the post was captioned.
He won the first bid, which was three bird feeder cameras. Garcia bid $1,225. He had the highest bid by $600 and won since the actual retail price was $1,587.
Garcia then came to the stage to play Dice Game for a Toyota Corolla LE. During this game, the contestant had to try to guess the price of the car by rolling dice. Whatever they rolled on the dice, if it wasn’t a one or a six, they had to guess if it was higher or lower than the number shown if it was not exact.
Garcia was given a two for the first number. For the second number, he rolled a four and was spot on.

The next number was a six, which was an automatic winner. The fourth number was a one, which was also an automatic winner.
“You’re doing so well. If you get this next one, you win yourself a brand new car,” host Drew Carey said.
Garcia rolled a five for the last number, which was not right, but he guessed it was lower. The numbers were revealed to be $24,364, which meant he was right and won the car.
“You couldn’t have gotten much luckier playing that game, for him,” Carey said.
Garcia spun a .90 on the wheel, advancing him to the Showcase. He was up against Michelle.
Garcia bid on the second Showcase, which featured a five-night trip to New York City, a six-night trip to Rome, Italy, and a six-night trip to Sydney, Australia.
He bid $38,000. Garcia was over since it was $33,289, meaning Michelle won her Showcase.
