Bill Maher‘s Dolly Parton tribute elicited a big reaction on his HBO show, just days after her death.

In the Friday, August 28 episode of Real Time With Bill Maher, the late-night host, 70, recapped the past week’s major events during his opening monologue.

Maher poked fun at President Donald Trump‘s decision to rename Lake Ontario to Lake America. Additionally, Maher touched on the war with Iran (which still hasn’t reached a deal) and, joking, “We just can’t seem to finish — just like f***ing on coke. What? It is.”

He also addressed the anniversaries of 9-11, Martin Luther King Jr.’s “I Have a Dream” speech, and the British setting the White House on fire during the War of 1812. “That was back when if you attacked a federal building, you were the bad guys,” he quipped.

Finally, Maher mentioned Parton’s death at 80 on August 25, following a “brief battle with cancer.” He pointed out, “All this is going on, and all America could really talk about this week was how sad it is we lost Dolly Parton.”

Maher continued, “We see everybody around the country — even around the world — London, they’re doing things. The Santa Monica ferris wheel is lit up with hearts. The Empire State Building was put up in pink. He then quipped, “The Sphere in Las Vegas added a nipple.”

In response, the studio audience erupted into applause, cheers, and laughter.

Parton was bluntly honest about her breast augmentation through the years. “My breasts have served me well. I don’t know if I’m supporting them or they’re supporting me,” she said in 2008, per CNN. “But of course I’ve had them jacked up a bit. And they’re part of the persona. It always takes a bit of pressure off me.”
