What To Know

  • Janice Dean spoke out against her former employer, Fox News, after they featured her nemesis Andrew Cuomo on Fox Business Network.
  • She claimed she has “many, many, many stories” to tell in the future and accused the network of “muzzling” her.

Janice Dean has several bones to pick with her former employer, Fox News. She worked at the network as a meteorologist for 22 years before leaving in June as her multiple sclerosis (MS) symptoms worsened.

On July 21, Dean shared several posts on X about her time at Fox News and hinted that she’ll share more in the future. It started when an X user tagged her in a post about the former New York governor’s appearance on Fox Business Network. Dean has been vocal about her disdain for Cuomo since 2020 when she blamed his government policies of contributing to the deaths of her in-laws from COVID.

“What a slap in the face to see Cuomo on Fox this morning! I’m sorry!” the user wrote, to which Dean replied, “Yup. Not surprised at all. Grateful I’m not there.” Someone else then jumped in to add, “When he was running for Mayor of NYC and FOX was basically endorsing him I thought WTH…what about Janice?!?!” and Dean replied, “Yes. Muzzled.”

Dean also reiterated why she considers Cuomo to be her nemesis, telling another commenter,”Thousands of dead seniors whose lives were cut short because some governors decided to infect their nursing homes with COVID.”

She then let everyone know, “I have many, many, many stories. Sometimes I can’t believe the stuff I’ve been through. But I’m free now.” The weatherwoman also said the network had “a loaded gun in the office and named the bullets after us.”

She continued, “Someday I’ll tell you all the story of how I was banned to talk about Andrew Cuomo after I spent years speaking out about what he did to seniors during COVID. I felt very betrayed during this time, and admittedly I’m still bitter. When you share something so personal to the world, and are encouraged to talk about it for years, and then one day be told you can’t, that hurt does not just magically go away.”

Dean also shared a link to an article her husband wrote “about why Andrew Cuomo should never hold office again,” and noted, “I wasn’t able to post it back in April of 2025 and it broke my heart.”
