Fox News’ Jessica Tarlov Rips Into Jesse Watters Over His Hillary Clinton Comment
What To Know
- Jesse Watters dismissed Hillary Clinton’s accomplishments on Wednesday’s episode of The Five.
- The Fox News anchor said the former first lady is “just a female.”
- Jessica Tarlov pushed back, listing Clinton’s roles as U.S. senator and secretary of state.
Things got heated on Wednesday’s (June 17) edition of The Five after Jesse Watters diminished Hillary Clinton‘s accomplishments, calling her “just a female.”
The panel was discussing recent comments from the former first lady, who said that the decision for former President Joe Biden to run again in 2024 was a “terrible mistake.” Biden ultimately dropped out of the 2024 presidential race and nominated Vice President Kamala Harris to replace him.
Watters insulted Clinton while bragging about the so-called successes under the Trump administration. “Jessica, we have America 250, we’re going to the moon, we got World Cup, we got Olympics, we got the AI revolution, Cuba’s next, we’re knocking off dictators left and right, I mean, come on,” he said. “These are the times to be alive.”
“Historians will look back in 100 years,” he continued. “They’re not gonna look at the fake news stuff that Jessica traffics in every day. They’re gonna see the big stuff. The world-defining moments. The rewiring of world trade. The crime, the economy, the border, what we’re doing internationally. That’s the stuff. Hillary Clinton is gonna be a footnote, and it’s just because she’s a female.”
“Aw, that’s terrible,” co-host Greg Gutfeld responded.
“Don’t do that,” Tarlov added.
“It’s true! What has she done?” Watters went on. “She’s just a female, that’s it. A female that does what men do.”
Tarlov responded by listing some of Clinton’s high-profile roles, saying, “U.S. senator, secretary of state…”
“That’s just a job!” Watters fired back. “What does she do at the job?”
“And she just talks at the YMCA?” asked Tarlov.
“Does she do a great job at the job? No! She does a terrible job,” Watters added. “She does a terrible job, just like many men have done terrible jobs at those same jobs.”
Tarlov told Watters to “stop it,” adding, “Rarely do I say this is beneath you, but it’s actually beneath you to be doing this.”
“You’d be surprised,” Watters quipped, sparking laughter from Gutfeld, who responded, “He can prove you wrong, because he’ll never break the chain.”

Jesse Watters must have severe self-esteem issues.

Jesse does tend to push things to far. Out of the envelope so to speak. He shouldn’t have made the “just a female” comment. That was wrong. But he is right that Hillary won’t be remembered on a positive note. She’ll be remembered as the Butcher If Benghazi that drastically failed the Americans in Libya when they desperately needed help. And for getting away scott free for violating National Security protocols. Transmitting and receiving classified information using two servers. Then “ her people” destroyed all the evidence they could. Unfortunately for her fifteen emails survived. But not to worry the FBI spent fifteen minutes at Her home having tea and strumpets with her, told her all was fine and left. Thank you Mr. Comey. 🙄
