Joy Behar Says She’s ‘Sick’ of Talking About Trump on ‘The View’
On Wednesday’s (June 17) episode of The View, Joy Behar ranted about Donald Trump — specifically, why she doesn’t want to rant about him anymore.
The first “Hot Topic” of the day was the mysterious deal that Donald Trump and JD Vance have reportedly made with Iran to stop the war, the full details of which are unclear but reportedly include a multi-billion-dollar restoration fund for the country to repair the damage done by U.S. attacks. After the deal was slammed by some of the cohosts, Behar weighed in with fury.
“I’m so tired of Donald Trump. I can barely even talk about him anymore,” Behar exclaimed. “I am so sick of his stupidity, of his dishonor, the way he talks about people, the way he presents himself to the children out in the world, the way he curses and swears about people, the fact that he’s so incompetent at what he does, the fact that these Republicans stick by him no matter what, the fact that he’s risked so much from the American people.”
She then criticized the deal itself, saying, “Where is this Iranian deal? Is it with his college transcripts that we never saw or his tax returns that we never saw? Why are Americans putting up with this?!”
Behar also reacted to her cohosts’ criticisms of the questionable Iran deal details, saying, “What do you expect from someone who’s bankrupted a casino?!”
Of course, Behar isn’t the only one of the cohosts who has grown tired of talking about Donald Trump on the show. Whoopi Goldberg famously refuses to even say his name, calling him “You Know Who” — except for the occasional slip, including a memorable incident when she accidentally said his name and then spit — or “Taco D” in reference to the acronym that meant, “Trump Always Chickens Out.”

Actually I’m glad to hear Joy is sick of talking about Trump. Long over due. Of course she had to spew allot of insults first. But it’s OK. Look I know people on the Left absolutely Hate Trump and wish him all manner of evil. But the highly toxic rhetoric needs to Stop ! Before more innocent people get killed or critically injured by deranged people attempting to harm Trump. Had these evil people that were gonna launch two waves of explosive drones And shoot people got their way. Allot of innocent people might have got killed or critically injured. Allot of those people were really there to see the fight they don’t really care so much about Trump. In the warped lens of these deranged people they think Celebs like Kimmel, Colbert, Stewart, Behar etc. will be proud of them if they do harm to Trump ! Not so secretly allot of people on the left probably Would be proud. But do we really want that for our country ? Do we want to set that as a precedent ( yes I realize past Presidents have been assassinated ) ? Do we want innocent people to be killed or critically wounded ? And how about the threat to Secret Service personnel ? They serve whatever President that’s in office. They’re just doing their jobs. Now I know the left will never stop insulting and making jokes about Trump. But I wonder could they take the high road and tone it down some ? It was Michelle Obama who said when they go low we go high. Though I don’t see things through her lens we could ALL tone it down some.

You might start with the toxic rhetoric of the sitting administration. But that seems to be ok with the right as it is directed at others and not you.

I don’t watch it anymore. it’s Republican bashing all day every day; it used to be entertaining but those days are long gone. Too bad Barbara’s show has sunk so low.
Just as a side note—I am also tired of Fox finding everything Republicans do as great and refreshing.
Nothing fair and balanced there either.

I have to admit that all this talk about Trump is exhausting to my mind and I'm trying to reduce my comments about him. I mean, I liked when Colbert, Meyers, Kimmel, and "SNL" constantly made fun of him. But, really, it does get tiring after a while so I also look at stuff on YouTube that has noting to do with Trump like discussion of my favorite comedy teams like Laurel & Hardy and Abbott and Costello. I may soon watch horse series movies online like the Flicka/National Velvet/The Black Stallion ones or maybe some of the movie work of TV icons like Sid Caesar or Jackie Gleason so see if they did anything that's as worthy as their legendary TV work. Anything to keep me off the current president of the US. I just hope the amendment that keeps anyone from running for more than two terms is still intact when this guy's term is up, that's all, so we may never worry about him basically ruining this country any more than he seems to be doing right now, that's for sure! That is all!
