Demi Moore Joins ‘Empire’ in Recurring Role
Demi Moore is headed back to television after a decades long hiatus. Moore will join the cast of Empire in a recurring role that will take her character into Season 4. The movie star will play a take-charge nurse with a mysterious past, who will become ever more treacherously entangled with the Lyon family in Season 4.
The last time fans saw Moore in a regular role on a television show was back in the 1980s when she starred on General Hospital. Moore’s daughter, Rumor Wilis, also has a story arc in the latter half of Empire‘s third season. No word yet on whether or not the real-life mother-daughter duo will cross paths on screen.
The Fox drama returns from its winter hiatus on Wednesday, March 22, when the drama between Cookie and Lucious Lyon is expected to reach peak levels. Moore joins previously announced actors and musicians who will appear on Empire this spring, including Eva Longoria, Taye Diggs, Phylicia Rashad, and Nia Long.
