- Spencer Pratt, known from The Hills, announced his mayoral run in January.
Drew Carey just eviscerated Spencer Pratt on social media amid the reality star’s bid for Los Angeles mayor.
On Friday, May 22, the Price Is Right host, 68, took to Threads with a critical message about the Hills alum, 42.
“Anyone who votes for, or endorses Spencer Prattfall for Mayor of LA needs to get their head out of their a**,” Carey began his update. “I understand being angry/unsatisfied, but at least get behind someone competent and not some serial scammer without a soul or moral compass. F*** this guy already.”
In the comments, Threads users were divided in their reactions. One who agreed with Carey’s stance wrote, “Thank god you continue to show what a great guy you are. It is unfathomable that his being elected might be a possibility.”
Another pointed out, “I can’t believe you have to state this. It’s like ‘don’t ingest hemorrhoid cream’ level of stupid ignorant people.”
Someone else declared, “Well, you got a new follower, Drew!👏🏽👏🏽.”

However, other Threads users were displeased with Carey’s take on Pratt, with one commenting, “Seems to me you have changed quite a bit from the old Drew we know, respect, and love. SAD.”
A different follower admitted, “So disappointed in you, Drew.”
Yet another critic shot back, “Geez, your definition of competence is incompetence! Get your head out of your own a**.”
Pratt, the husband of Laguna Beach star Heidi Montag, 39 — with whom he shared two sons, Gunner, 8, and Ryker, 3 — announced in January that he was running for LA mayor. On June 2, local residents will cast their ballots as Pratt goes up against incumbent Mayor Karen Bass.
Recently, the Got to Get Out competitor posted an ad campaign featuring a mayoral take on the Fresh Prince of Bel-Air theme song.
What do you think of Pratt’s bid for LA mayor?

So if by bashing on Pratt then Drew is by proxy endorsing the other two I sure don’t get that. A kindergarten student would be a vast improvement over Bass !! I respect Drew for his military service but I don’t get his take on this one. But Thank God I don’t live in LA or the once great state of CA. Newsome and people like Bass have people fleeing that state like Moses and the children of Israel !! And it’s So sad because it used to be The place to be. But liberalism and socialism have ruined it.As they are the majority there maybe Drew is playing to the majority. Remember you’re USMC roots Drew don’t go with the crowd, dare to be different !! Make CA a place for Normal people again !!

The last thing this country needs is to have another reality-show "star" get elected to run something. Angelenos, take that lesson to heart!!!

Pratt is just another fevered ego, tainting our collective consciousness, and forcing us all to pay a higher cosmic price for our serenity.

There is already one reality tv star ruining the country and another the FAA, we don’t need another one ruining LA.
