During Season 8 of Before the 90 Days, Laura, a 47-year-old from Vancouver, Washington, traveled to Turkey to meet her long-distance boyfriend, Birkan, for the first time in person. While their connection is clearly strong, Laura discovered that Birkan is in a massive amount of debt and has a strong affinity for gambling, which he argues is unrelated, or even helping the situation. According to Michal, this is a major red flag.
