‘Bridgerton’: Hannah Dodd Explains How Francesca Meeting Michaela Impacts Her Season 4 Journey
Preview
Bridgerton Season 4 is nearly here, which means that fans are that much closer to understanding the impact of Francesca (Hannah Dodd) meeting Michaela (Masali Baduza).
For fans of Julia Quinn’s novel When He Was Wicked, they know that Francesca’s endgame love is her husband John’s (Victor Alli) cousin, Michael. In the TV adaptation, Michael was transformed into Micheala, and fans were clued into the cosmic connection between her and Francesca based on the latter’s reaction to her in Season 3’s final ball.
But it isn’t an instantaneous revelation regarding Francesca’s feelings for Michaela, as fans of the book know that she is committed to John until, [Spoiler Alert], he dies suddenly. In Quinn’s novel, Francesca finds comfort in John’s cousin, and whether the show will follow this pattern or not will remain to be seen, but we couldn’t help but ask Dodd about where Francesca’s head is after she meets Michaela and is rendered momentarily speechless.
