‘I Love LA’ Season 2 Casts Katy O’Brian, ‘The Sopranos’ Michael Rispoli & More

Rachel Sennott‘s I Love LA will return for a second season. HBO announced the comedy’s early renewal during the HBO and HBO Max slate presentation, hosted by Casey Bloys, on Thursday, November 20, in New York City. According to HBO, the comedy has a notable increase in audience growth. Now, the series has revealed new stars joining the I Love LA Season 2 cast, including Taron Egerton, Jamie Chung, Katy O’Brian, The Sopranos‘ Michael Rispoli, and more.

Bloys, Chairman and CEO of HBO and HBO Max Content, announced during the presentation that the network was renewing I Love LA and The Chair Company, its other new comedy series of fall 2025. I Love LA premiered on Sunday, November 2, on HBO. It was renewed after three of eight episodes in Season 1 aired.

From creator and star Sennott, I Love LA is among the fastest-growing original comedies and continues to pace as HBO’s second top freshman comedy in platform history, averaging nearly 2 million (L+3) U.S. cross-platform viewers. Both series are delivering strong audiences. From Tim Robinson and Zach Kanin, The Chair Company continues to pace as HBO’s top freshman comedy in platform history, with the season averaging 3.3 million (L+3) U.S. cross-platform viewers and growing.

We couldn’t be happier to continue collaborating with Tim, Zach, Rachel, and their exceptional teams.”

Taron Egerton, Jamie Chung, Benjamin Norris, Dylan Arnold, Jessy Hodges, and Milan Carter have joined the I Love LA Season 2 cast, along with Katy O’Brian, Lindsay Sloane, Michael Rispoli, Nelson Franklin, and Rajat Suresh. Character details have not been shared. The castings were announced on Instagram on August 5, 2026, and by Variety on August 27.

Season 1 stars are Sennott as Maia, Jordan Firstman as Charlie, Josh Hutcherson as Dylan, Odessa A’zion as Tallulah, and True Whitaker as Alani. Guest stars included Leighton Meester, Moses Ingram, Ayo Edebiri, Lauren Holt, Elijah Wood, Quenlin Blackwell, Josh Brener, Tim Baltz, Froy Gutierrez, and Colin Woodell.

I Love LA follows an ambitious group of friends as they navigate life and love in Los Angeles.
