Rachel Sennott‘s I Love LA will return for a second season. HBO announced the comedy’s early renewal during the HBO and HBO Max slate presentation, hosted by Casey Bloys, on Thursday, November 20, in New York City. According to HBO, the comedy has a noteworthy growing audience.

Bloys, Chairman and CEO of HBO and HBO Max Content, announced during the presentation that the network was renewing I Love LA and The Chair Company, its other new comedy series of fall 2025. I Love LA premiered on Sunday, November 2, on HBO. Three episodes of its eight-part first season have aired so far.

From creator and star Sennott, I Love LA is among the fastest growing original comedies and continues to pace as HBO’s second top freshman comedy in platform history, averaging nearly 2 million (L+3) U.S. cross-platform viewers. Both series are delivering strong audiences. From Tim Robinson and Zach Kanin, The Chair Company continues to pace as HBO’s top freshman comedy in platform history, with the season averaging 3.3 million (L+3) U.S. cross-platform viewers and growing.
