Gilmore Girls star Scott Patterson shared why the show continues to “heal” fans decades later as they rewatch the beloved 2000s series.

During an October interview with The Hollywood Reporter, Patterson, 67 — who portrayed diner owner Luke Danes — opened up about the enduring popularity of Gilmore Girls. The series aired for seven seasons from 2000 to 2007, with a four-part Netflix miniseries revival, Gilmore Girls: A Year in the Life, dropping in 2016.
