Favorite TV Families Crossword
Everett Collection

One of the many great things about television is that there are so many different TV families we can choose to spend hours and hours with every day! I grew up in a family with five kids and couldn’t get enough of watching similar large families. As with so many other people I talk to, The Brady Bunch in the early ’70s was an all-time favorite, with Mom and Dad, six kids and Tiger the Dog. It’s a little too obvious from the show name, but Eight Is Enough with the Bradford clan was also on my must-watch list in the late ’70s. In life and in so many shows, you can count neighbors, friends and coworkers as part of the extended family. Potsie, Ralph Malph and Fonzie were all pretty much honorary Cunninghams on Happy Days in the mid-’70s. But we’re covering all the decades in this Favorite TV Families issue, from the Cleavers in the ’50s to the Taylors in the ’60s to the Keatons in the ’80s to the Conners in the ’90s to the Barones in the 2000s to the Hecks in the ’10s. After you’ve tackled this crossword, good luck deciding which favorite family you’re going to watch on TV.
