’90 Day: The Last Resort’: Liz Mocks Big Ed Over Their Sex Life
90 Day: The Last Resort is supposed to give couples one final chance at fixing their issues, but things aren’t going so well for Liz and Big Ed, especially after a very open and embarrassing chat about their sex life.
On Monday’s (September 4) episode of the TLC reality series, Big Ed was not happy with his fiancée, Liz, after she went into humiliating detail about his troubles in the bedroom. The moment came during a session with a sex educator, which left Big Ed feeling ridiculed.
Liz was already annoyed with Big Ed before the session as she thought he wasn’t taking the process seriously. And things only got worse when Big Ed started the conversation by cracking a joke, asking the sex educator where babies come from.
“I’m like, not in the mood for jokes at all,” Liz said (per ETOnline). The other contestants felt the same, with Jovi telling Big Ed, “That was not as funny as you think it is.”

But Big Ed wasn’t laughing when it came time to discuss his and Liz’s sex life. Liz explained that Ed was out of shape and that she preferred to please herself.
“I’m not someone to just like stop and give you like five or 10 minutes to catch your breath and then like get back into it,” she shared. “I prefer to get myself off.”
She went into further detail in confessional, telling the cameras, “Thinking about being intimate with Ed right now, furthest thing on my mind because it’s just really bad. If we don’t try to work on our sex life in the bedroom, the relationship’s over.”
Liz reiterated that she prefers to please herself, saying, “He runs out of breath so fast.” As this was happening, Ed just sat there as his fellow cast members seemed highly amused.
In a later confessional, Ed said he’d just had surgery and was trying to get back in shape. However, Liz shot this excuse down, explaining that it had been months since the surgery. She also said publicly humiliating him was partly revenge for his annoying jokes.
“I told you to stop being funny, and you just poke the bear a little bit too hard,” she stated.
Ed was furious after the sex education session, accusing Liz of purposely trying to embarrass him in front of everyone. This led to a heated confrontation, with Liz telling Ed to “shut up.”
After things had calmed down, the couple appeared to patch things up, with Ed apologizing for not taking things seriously. “The minute things get serious or I get nervous, I go funny,” he said. “And I’m sorry for making jokes instead of paying attention.”
