‘WeCrashed’: Apple TV+ Releases First Trailer for ‘WeWork’ Drama (VIDEO)

Jared Leto and Anne Hathaway are looking to “change everything” in the first trailer for the upcoming Apple TV+ limited series WeCrashed.

Based on the hit Wondery podcast WeCrashed: The Rise and Fall of WeWork, the highly-anticipated drama is set to premiere globally with the first three episodes on March 18. New weekly installments will follow each Friday for an eight-episode run.

“Come with me, and let’s build the future together,” says Leto’s Adam Neumann in the video teaser (watch below). The clip highlights the WeWork co-founder’s quest for fame and fortune as he builds his game-changing start-up company, all with his wife and muse Rebekah Neumann (Hathaway) by his side.

Inspired by real-life events, WeCrashed traces the rise of WeWork from a single co-working space into a global brand worth $47 million in less than a decade before its monumental fall that saw its value plummet. The series will dive into what happened while focusing on the Adam and Rebekah love story at the center of the drama.

In addition to Leto and Hathaway, the series stars Kyle Marvin as WeWork co-founder Miguel McKelvey, America Ferrera (Superstore) as Elishia Kennedy, O-T Fagbenle (The Handmaid’s Tale) as Cameron Lautner, Robert Emmet Lunney (After Forever) as Richard, and Theo Stockman (Bonding) as Jacob.

The project is helmed by Lee Eisenberg (Good Boys) and Drew Crevello, who serve as writers, executive producers, and showrunners. John Requa and Glenn Ficarra (This Is Us) are on board as directors, as well as exec producers alongside Charles Gogolak, Natalie Sandy, and Hathaway. Leto and Emma Ludbrook also exec produce via their Paradox production company, alongside Hernan Lopez, Marshall Lewy, and Aaron Hart from Wondery.

Oscar-winner Hathaway recently appeared in an episode of the Prime Video anthology series Solos, as well as the romantic comedy heist film Locked Down. Meanwhile, fellow Academy Award winner Leto recently starred as Paolo Gucci in the 2021 film House of Gucci and as Albert Sparma in the neo-noir thriller The Little Things.
