Fox is looking to potentially find its next drama with its latest batch of pilot orders.

First up is A.P.B., from former Person of Interest writer, David Slack. The series follows a tech billionaire who buys a troubled police precinct—following a personal tragedy—with the hopes of getting them back on track. The pilot will be directed/executive produced by Len Wiseman (who also directed and served as an exec producer for Fox’s Lucifer and Sleepy Hollow). 20th Century Fox Television is the studio behind A.P.B.

Next up is Recon, written by current The Vampire Diaries showrunner Caroline Dries. In the drama, a new FBI agent goes undercover to investigate a suspected terrorist family. The Vampire Diaries creators Kevin Williamson and Julie Plec will be non-writing executive producers on this project. Warner Bros. Television, with Outerbanks Entertainment, are the studios behind the pilot.

The pilots come after Fox ordered The Exorcist pilot last week.
