THE GOLDBERGS – “Baio and Switch” – Beverly decides to volunteer for Hands Across America in an attempt to get closer with Barry and Erica. She gets them to spoil her with affection after she promises an appearance from Scott Baio, but the plan fails. Beverly Goldberg (Wendi McClendon-Covey) is at it again, overbearing, bedazzled and ready for (Scott) Baio!

When Barry (Troy Gentile) and Erica (Hayley Orrantia) get involved with the charity Hands Across America, Beverly decides to get involved, too. In attempt to get closer to her kids, the overeager mom volunteers as the group leader (because the former one “cracked under the pressure”). But sensing their disappointment, Beverly reveals she got Charles in Charge actor Scott Baio to make an appearance. While Barry and Erica are skeptical at first, they’re soon convinced. But will Beverly’s plan backfire?
