‘Speechless’: First Look at Julianne Hough as JJ’s New Music Teacher

ÊBut when a very attractive new teacher is hired, JJ decides to join his brother and takes Ray's solo. ÊBut when everything looks bleak, the family is surprised with their own holiday miracle. DiMeos we have heard on high, sweetly singing o’er the high school choir room. In an effort to boost his extracurricular activities, Ray (Mason Cook) joins his school’s choir in the December 14 holiday episode of ABC’s Speechless.

But his plans for glory get derailed when older brother JJ (Micah Fowler), inspired by hot new choral teacher Miss Bloom (Julianne Hough, with Fowler), also joins the club. Miss Bloom is so taken by JJ she gives him Ray’s solo—with an assist from aide Kenneth (Cedric Yarbrough).

“It was fun getting to play with them,” Hough says of the cast. “They are all so talented and made me feel really welcome.”
