Get to Know ‘Love Is Blind’s Sarah Williams: All About Her Job & More
We can’t believe we’re already on Season 11 of Love Is Blind. What do you mean we’ve watched 11 whole seasons of people dating through a wall in various U.S. cities?! Surely not. And yet, Love Is Blind Season 11 feels just as fresh, with a never-before-seen first in the pods, explosive arguments, the world’s most awkward silent disco, and an alleged Travis Kelce lookalike.
Among the 30 Boston singles hoping to find love this season is Sarah Williams, a 34-year-old Libra who’s more than happy to be the big spoon for the right man. So, who is Sarah, and how does her Love Is Blind Season 11 journey unfold? Let’s find out!
Who is Sarah Williams?
First things first, if Sarah Williams’ life were turned into a biopic, Shailene Woodley would undoubtedly be playing her. Tell us you don’t see the resemblance, too?!
And it’s not just the uncanny resemblance. Sarah could practically be Woodley’s voice double, too. (And no, this isn’t another Megan Fox situation, we swear!)
She’s endlessly curious, considerate, and empathetic, and she’s looking for a man who’s humble, kind, thoughtful, and a little silly. “I like people who can keep things fun, but I’m also more into the quiet guys,” she shares. As someone who’s pretty calm and collected herself, Sarah has little patience for angry men who lose their temper. Hard relate.
What is Sarah’s job?
Honestly, a 9-to-5 just doesn’t cut it for Sarah! By day, she’s a healthcare program manager who’s clearly passionate about her hospital job. Come the weekend, she swaps the hospital for a bar, a gig she genuinely loves. But not everyone is a fan of her side hustle. It sparks a heated discussion with one potential match, who isn’t keen on the idea of his future wife working in a bar. Boy, bye! Sarah’s not about to give up something she enjoys just to fit someone else’s idea of a perfect wife.
Who did Sarah match with in the Love Is Blind pods?
One of Sarah’s main connections in the pods is John Shannon. The pair bond over their shared love of Harry Potter, reminiscing about the excitement of waiting for new books to be released. They’re also both music fans, although their tastes couldn’t be more different. Sarah is a Taylor Swift girlie, while John prefers The Beatles. The few TS songs he knows are mostly radio hits, rather than the songwriting goldmines Sarah knows he’ll adore, but she promises to introduce him to the good stuff. We love a potential Swiftie conversion!

Things take a turn, however, when Sarah overhears John talking to producers after leaving the pods. He describes having a nice date with someone who’s in his “bottom two.” Yikes! Understandably hurt, Sarah returns for another date and confronts him about what she heard. John is mortified and insists that he genuinely wants to get to know her better, explaining that their last date changed things for him.
John also opens up to Sarah about his multiple sclerosis (MS) diagnosis and what the future might hold. But his diagnosis doesn’t put her off. Sarah shares that her brother-in-law went blind and explains that he never wanted his wife to change how she treated him because of it. It’s a heartfelt conversation that shows Sarah is willing to look beyond the challenges a relationship might bring.
But John isn’t Sarah’s only connection in the pods. She’s also getting to know Morrey Eglin, the quintessential Bostonian who’s dating both her and Benita Paloja. The pair bond over their shared love of Taylor Swift and a good sense of humor. Things get serious when Morrey reveals that he’s falling for Sarah and wants to ask her to be his girlfriend. Suddenly, Sarah has a big decision to make!
Did Sarah get engaged on Love Is Blind?
Morrey breaks things off with Benita and decides to focus solely on Sarah. But Sarah has already realized that John is the right man for her, so she ends things with Morrey, who subsequently leaves the experiment. Ouch!
Meanwhile, John proposes to Sarah, telling her he can’t wait to meet her in person and joking that he wants to lick her face. Keep it in the bedroom, guys! Sarah has no second thoughts as she heads into their first meeting, and luckily, John is absolutely thrilled with how attractive his fiancée is. He tells her he “couldn’t be happier” and repeatedly exclaims, “You’re so hot!” Honestly, the dream. The pair even admit to popping a Listerine strip beforehand to ensure their first kisses are minty fresh. Now that’s preparation!
Things seem to be going swimmingly in Mexico at first, but the preview for the upcoming episodes hints at trouble in paradise. In one tense moment, John tells Sarah to “shut the f*ck up.” Yikes! Could these two cuties be heading for rocky waters? We’ll have to wait and see.
