We’ve been eagerly waiting for the newest season, where we can watch people with Ben Affleck’s accent flirt, yap, cry, and storm out. And boy, does this season deliver! We’ve got an eavesdropping first in Love Is Blind history, dirty talk, a silent disco, love bombing, and plenty more drama.
Then there’s Morrey Eglin, bringing the BBE (Big Boston Energy). The 32-year-old is practically the poster boy for Boston men. Honestly, Renee Rapp’s “I Hate Boston” could’ve been written just for him. Someone call Rapp and check, please! A big personality both in the pods and in the men’s quarters, Morrey certainly knows how to get people talking.

Who is Morrey Eglin?
Every season has that one guy who gets everyone talking. In the latest season of Love Is Blind: UK, it was Jack. Now, it’s Morrey. He might not consider himself a Leonardo DiCaprio, but he reckons he’s “handsome enough.” Well, confidence is certainly not the issue!
First things first: What exactly does Morrey do for a living? He’s a boxer who also works part-time as a bouncer at Southie’s busiest bar. And, as if that weren’t enough, he co-owns a cornhole business with his former teacher. Yep, that’s a sentence we had to read twice, too.

When it comes to relationships, Morrey describes himself as “modern traditional.” He’s looking for an ambitious woman who’ll still let him pick up the check. And he’s not shy about making sure his matches know he can afford to do just that. Morrey reveals that his cornhole business brought in $220,000 in revenue last year, so he’s clearly keen to show potential partners that he has the financial side of things covered.
Who did Morrey match with in the Love Is Blind pods?
Morrey was a hit-or-miss for the women in the pods. He had a brief connection with Jax Guelli, but things didn’t go any further. Instead, his two main matches became Benita Paloja and Sarah Williams.
Benita was all in, and the pair bonded over their hopes of a big family and an even bigger wedding. A self-professed Swiftie, Morrey revealed that he wanted Taylor Swift’s “Love Story” playing for his first dance. Benita, however, was also dating Blake Carver, who opened up about losing his dad and admitted that he typically goes for 5-foot-2 blondes. Benita is neither of those things, but she was quick to assure him that he wouldn’t be disappointed. Confidence all around!
Then there was Sarah, a fellow Swiftie. Morrey wasted no time mansplaining the folklore love triangle to her before slipping in a cheeky “I was enchanted to meet you.” The pair connected on a deeper level, chatting about a range of topics, and Morrey soon found himself leaning more toward Sarah. There was just one catch: Sarah was also dating John.
Did Morrey get engaged on Love Is Blind?
When Benita revealed that she was falling in love with Morrey, he abruptly ended things, and she didn’t take the news well. Morrey then opened up to Sarah about his feelings, planning to ask her to be his girlfriend. But just as he was ready to take the next step, Sarah shut him down. While she cared for Morrey, she felt John was a better fit for her.
Morrey took the rejection graciously and left the pods.
We have a feeling he’ll be back for the group mixer, and if he is, a showdown with Benita could be on the cards. Time will tell!
Meanwhile, Sarah said yes to John, and the pair is now loved-up in Mexico. Looks like Morrey’s pod journey didn’t quite go to plan!
