Blackburn followed it up with his first feature film role, playing a French student in the family drama "Next of Kin" (2008), which revolved around a brother and sister who reunite after 15 years following their mother's tragic death. In 2012, Blackburn was promoted to series regular on "Pretty Little Liars," due in large part to his character's popularity with viewers.
