‘Supernatural’: Behind the Scenes of Filming on Season 15 (PHOTOS)
Jim Michaels, one of the producers for the CW series, posted this behind-the-scenes look on the first day of filming for the final season on July 18.
“Started my prep as director yesterday,” Jensen Ackles wrote in the caption of what he called his “‘intensely scouting locations’ selfie” on July 10. “Let the games begin!!!”
On July 22, Jared Padalecki posted a couple of selfies: one of himself from San Diego Comic-Con followed by this one from set. “Sunday #sdcc Jared, meet Monday #finalseasonspn Sam.”
Ackles directed the first episode filmed for Season 15, and he posted a series of photos and a video from set on July 31. “Directing was intense,” he wrote. “Here is my transformation back to good ol #DeanWinchester. Feels good.”
Here’s “good ol #DeanWinchester,” as Ackles called his character after directing the fourth episode to air of the season.
Misha Collins posted this bloody photo from set on July 31. “#Supernatural got a mandate from the studio to make the show more family-friendly, so we’re bringing clowns to the show,” he wrote.
Collins posted this photo of the cast from the set on August 2. “We love our fans! #Supernatural (Photo by @fridanorrman),” he wrote in the caption.
Supernatural fans are going to have to say goodbye to the Winchesters and the rest of the series at the end of the upcoming 15th season.
But there’s still time, especially since they just started filming in July. Series stars Jared Padalecki, Jensen Ackles, and Misha Collins have shared photos from the set teasing what to expect in the final season.
