Before Lisa Rinna signed on for Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, the actress starred opposite her husband Harry Hamlin in a 2007 Broadway production of Chicago. Rinna’s iconic short hairdo was given a flapper twist as Roxie Hart, with Hamlin portraying Hart’s lawyer Billy Flynn.

The hit musical based on the Windy City was also home to Real Housewives of Atlanta star NeNe Leakes, whose turn as Matron Mama Morton was spot-on. Leakes also showed her singing chops as Madame in Rodger and Hammerstein’s Cinderella with Keke Palmer as Cinderella in 2014.

The RuPaul’s Drag Race star Peppermint made history as the first openly-transgender woman to originate a principal Broadway role with her interpretation of Pythio in Tony Award-winning director Michael Mayer’s Head Over Heels. The musical, set to songs by the Go-Gos, was a modern reworking of Sir Philip Sydney’s Arcadia.
