Gibbs Deals With What He Did to Help Ziva When 'NCIS' Returns (PHOTOS)
And it might be that she's the one who needs to provide the help (after getting help with that "one thing" she needed to take care of before she could return to her family), for Gibbs (Mark Harmon). In "In the Wind," he must face the reality of his actions from assisting Ziva.
When the team reunited with Ziva in the fall finale, "The North Pole," they learned that Sahar was still alive — and Gibbs' neighbor, Sarah. In order to save Ziva, Gibbs had to kill Sarah/Sahar and then figure out how to tell Phineas what happened to his mother.
"There's only so much one man can take," executive producer Steven D. Binder told TV Insider about Gibbs. "He's taken a lot. He's getting close to redlining. What that looks like, tune in."
And it's in this next episode, for which you can get a sneak peek at what's to come in the gallery above, that we'll find out how much of what Gibbs knows about Phineas' father is true, "the history of Phineas and Sahar/Sarah and how she pulled that whole thing off," according to EP Frank Cardea.
