See LL Cool J, Scott Caan & More in ‘NCIS: New York’ Set Photos
NCIS is coming to New York this fall, and we now have a look at the cast in action, thanks to behind-the-scenes photos from them filming. The photos, which you can check out below, show LL Cool J, Scott Caan, Jacqueline Byers, and Shane Harper filming in Brooklyn and Central Park.
NCIS: New York sees legendary NCIS Special Agent Sam Hanna (LL Cool J) move back to his hometown to its field office, where he partners with the roguish NCIS Special Agent Nick Schaeffer (Caan) and helps lead a new team tasked with high-stakes missions to defend one of the most vital cities and ports in the world.
Jennifer Beals plays the field officer’s director, Assistant Special Agent in Charge Robyn Wells, who leads with her intuition and is widely respected by her team. Byers’ NCIS Special Agent Addison “Addy” Ross is a rock-solid, tough and resourceful agent with something to prove. Harper plays NCIS Special Agent Wyatt Hill, who is fearless, sharp, highly skilled in the field and a hopeless romantic. And Devin Druid plays NCIS Tech Specialist Sean Sullivan, who is witty and brilliant but resistant to authority.
NCIS: New York, produced by CBS Studios, is executive produced by R. Scott Gemmill, showrunner Byron Balasco, Adam Davidson, Kyle Harimoto, Joe Wilson, LL Cool J, and Jason Barrett.

Scott Caan was on Hawaii-50 Detective Danny (Dano) Williams and so was the NCIS office from LA (NCIS Agent Hanna) This is not going to go over very well. It might if Cann was still playing Danny Williams and move to NY to be close to Grace his daughter for Hawaii-50.

Very true Lindell, but he is not playing the "Williams" character, but it sure would help the program for back ground story if he was portraying Williams. Alas it will be new. Time will tell. Enjoy the show!

Caan looks out of place. I really think he was a major mistake to be cast in the show when there are way better actors ready and available

I like LL Cool J. I am going to give this show a chance. If it doesn’t click for me I will not watch it. I was not a fan of NCIS Hawaii when it started but it grew on me. I really was hoping to like NCIS Sydney but that show didn’t work out so me. Origins was another show that grew on me.

I thoroughly enjoy watching LL Cool J in anything and everything he does. Caan is an actor normally portraying antagonistic characters which he does really well. With Caan there to be the "fly in the buttermilk" so to speak and some other new faces it should prove to be interesting. My problem is when they start you on a new series and after maybe 2 seasons they cancel regardless even if the show is a hit. Another problem is it is on CBS which loves cancelling shows period. Of course if the show is a dud I as everyone can turn channel or turn off TV and read a book or listen to CDs.

If this show had anyone but Scott Caan, I might be interested. As it is, I won't be watching.
