‘Good Burger 2’ Trailer Reveals Robot Threat, Plus See Original Cast Return (PHOTOS)
“Welcome to Good Burger, home of the Good Burger, can I take your order?” Well, not for much longer, as the trailer for the Paramount+ sequel Good Burger 2 (premiering November 22) reveals.
Dexter (Kenan Thompson) turns to Ed (Kel Mitchell) for a job at Good Burger, and Ed promises to put in a good word. But, as the best friends learn upon going to Mega Corp, the plan is to open Mega Good Burgers in cities all over the world, from Hollywood to Hong Kong — and so Good Burger is shut down and they’re all fired. But Mega Corp wants to replace everyone with robots (there’s a robot Ed!). Watch the trailer above for a look at the hijinks to come, then scroll down to check out photos from the movie.
Good Burger 2 is the sequel to the iconic ’90s film based on the sketch from the Nickelodeon comedy series All That. Now, Dex is down on his luck after another one of his inventions fails, and Ed welcomes Dex back to Good Burger with open arms and gives him his old job back. With a new crew working at Good Burger, Dex devises a plan to get back on his feet but unfortunately puts the fate of Good Burger at risk once again.
The movie also stars Lil Rel Howery as Cecil McNevin, Jillian Bell as Katt Boswell, Kamaia Fairburn as Mia, Alex R. Hibbert as Ed2, Fabrizio Guido as Mr. Jensen, Elizabeth Hinkler and Emily Hinkler as Cindy and Mindy, and Anabel Graetz as Ruth. The film will also feature surprise celebrity cameos as well as original Good Burger cast members reprising their roles: Josh Server as Fizz, Lori Beth Denberg as Connie Muldoon, and Carmen Electra as Roxanne.
Good Burger 2 is produced by Thompson and Mitchell. It was written by Kevin Kopelow and Heath Seifert, who also serve as executive producers. Johnny Ryan Jr., of Artists for Artists is also an executive producer. Phil Traill directs and serves as executive producer. James III also has been engaged as a writer.
