Where to See 11 ‘Game of Thrones’ Stars Next (PHOTOS)
Game of Thrones has reached its end on HBO and while fans may have had to say goodbye to Westeros, the stars who inhabited the show’s roles will still be appearing on screens in others.
From new and current TV shows to some big films, these actors and actresses have wasted no time in finding new work following the Game of Thrones wrap. We’ve collected some of the show’s Season 8 talents who have big things in the works or already airing.

Lena Headey
The former Queen Cersei is jumping from one premium channel to another as she’s set to lead the Showtime dramedy RITA. Headey’s character is a headstrong teacher and single mother who challenges authority. She’ll also voice a character in Netflix’s The Dark Crystal: The Age of Resistance.
Nikolaj Coster-Waldau
Jaime Lannister may not have made it out of Thrones alive, but Coster-Waldau is carrying on with his TV career by signing onto Gone Hollywood. The ’80s set drama follows a group of agents who are dominating the entertainment industry and will reunite Coster-Waldau with former costar Jonathan Pryce in the pilot.
Liam Cunningham
Davos may have survived the Battle of Winterfell, but star Liam Cunningham is fighting for the living once again in his latest role. The actor is part of the stacked cast for the Hot Zone which explores the Ebola virus’s arrival on U.S. soil.
Alfie Allen
Sadly Theon’s life didn’t last until the end of the series, but Alfie Allen’s acting career is alive and well. The star appeared in Season 3 of Hulu’s Harlots earlier this summer and he’s part of Taika Waititi’s upcoming film Jojo Rabbit.
Joe Dempsie
He may have been MIA for a big chunk of Thrones, but actor Joe Dempsie has been part of Deep State since day one. The EPIX series is currently airing its second season.
Gemma Whelan
She may be known as Yara Greyjoy to fans of Thrones, but Whelan has another project currently airing on HBO — the series Gentleman Jack. Whelan plays Marian Lister in the period piece series.
Sophie Turner
After years of playing as, Turner has branched out into the world of mutants playing Jean Grey (aka Phoenix) in the X-Men universe. Her film X-Men: Dark Phoenix debuted this June, and she just signed on to appear in a Quibi original series Survive.
Nathalie Emmanuel
Actress Nathalie Emmanuel has two big TV projects currently streaming with Mindy Kaling’s Four Weddings and a Funeral series for Hulu and Netflix’s Jim Henson series The Dark Crystal: Age of Resistance. The star has traded in her Missandei role for Maya in Four Weddings and the voice portrayal of Deet for The Dark Crystal.
Iain Glen
Star Iain Glen put in nearly 10 years of great work as Jorah Mormont, but now he’s taking on a well-known character in Titans. The actor was cast as Bruce Wayne (aka Batman) for Season 2 of the series.
Maisie Williams
It appears that Williams has taken a cue from costar Turner for her post-Game of Thrones role as Rahne Sinclair (aka Wolfsbane) in the X-Men universe film The New Mutants. The film is set to debut at the beginning of August this year. She’s also signed onto the British based comedy Two Weeks to Live.
Emilia Clarke
She may be known as the Daenerys Targaryen, Mother of Dragons in Thrones, but Clarke is turning to the rom-com genre for the holiday film Last Christmas. Clarke will appear as Kate alongside costar and Crazy Rich Asians breakout Henry Golding.
