Showtime has given us our first peek at art for Homeland‘s seventh season. The posters reflect the paradoxical relationship that Carrie (Claire Danes) has with the country’s powers.

At the end of last season, following an assassination attempt on her life, President Keane (Elizabeth Marvel) broke her promise to Carrie by arresting 200 members of the intelligence community–including Saul Berenson (Mandy Patinkin)–without bringing charges against them. As season seven begins, Carrie has left her job in the White House but is living with her sister Maggie (Amy Hargreaves) in D.C. to take on the Keane administration and secure the release of the 200.

The network has also released a teaser trailer for the new season that hints at what’s in store for the characters.
