It was bad enough when they killed off Alvin (Elias Koteus) but if they ax Jay I'm done with this show. No one is above being fired!

Since they killed off Olinsky, I haven't been the true fan. I watched the two seasons after his departure, but this last season, I only watched the first two episodes. Not a fan anymore.

Chicago PD without Jesse Lee/Jay H. . .unbelievable! Can't imagine the District without him! The squad takes on dangerous stuff; they get hurt. Let's pray for Jay's recovery & getting back to "work". I guess the producers have to shake things up. Tony/Jon Ceda's leaving too! Can't stand it! Just finished watching a marathon. I watch them all every Thursday till 3am. Can't wait till new season! Should be very interesting! Shoot, might need new writers; not new actors! 😄 Love Chicago PD!

I agree completely! These actors have SUCH great chemistry together & are actually believable as MORE than a "WORK" family. I can't stand the thought of splitting these actors up for the sake of the POSSIBILITY (not PROBABILITY) of higher ratings. I LOVE this show & watch EVERY rerun ALL the time! Best of the best since the beginning just like the ORIGINAL CIS teams -sadly, long gone (mostly due to splitting up the original actors/characters that people came to love & count on being there on those shows causing ratings to fall & Episodes failing & causing disappointment & loss of highly loyal viewers - just like it appears to be the path you are sending Chicago PD down by splitting up the beloved teams!). I understand the need for change & diversity to keep the viewers interest, but when you start messing with the original cast too much too quickly, the show is in for trouble with it's loyal followers).
JAY is a big reason I love the show (as well as the others). I honestly don't understand why HE'S not been given the chance for the BIG SCREEN films with HIS looks & acting abilities!

I hope they bring Al back and hoping Jay is ok and showing up. I didn’t see Burgess in the photo, but I would miss her too even if she can’t make up her mind who she wants to be with.

Olinksky will return... The first time detective went 6' deep under cover... Erin was too soft! Stay gone bye! bye! and Jay like Erin too soft! be gone... CHI P.D. is the best drama series... Hey Kevin Atwater!!

Al is gone.....Dick Wolf said Voight" needed to pay the price for that boy he killed who shot his son. I wish they had kept him too. Miss Antonio as well. Agree it's not the same.

Actors sometimes take a leave of absence for personal reasons! When Adam suddenly went undercover then returned noticeably overweight,
he could have gone to rehab. There are many reasons for writing characters in and out of the story but I totally agree that it was a huge mistake to write Alvin Olinsky out of the show, he was a great character and if they were good writers they could have thought of a more creative way to solve the plot problem. They took the easy way out because he was an older guy! Bad move!! It really hurt the show!

After Lindsey left, I reluctantly kept watching. If Jay goes, that leaves Burgess.

Someone needs to just tell the writers to stop using the phrase "I get it" a dozen times an episode also they are always "3 blocks away" whenever a call goes out lol maybe i only noticed bc i binge watched season 6 in 1 day. I did notice they finally switched it to 4 though 2 episodes ago. They seem to repeat the same stories though. In season 6 alone it seemed like every other week they were setting up undercover buys oh yeah and they always announce themselves when the bad guy is still too far away to catch. It's a tv drama "I get it" lol I love the show just pointing out what I've noticed

First it was Erin. then Olinsky then Antonio. All of those characters were awesome but Halstead with his military background is my favorite. Followed by Atwater and Voight. If he doesn’t come back then I’m done.

I love the Chicago PD cast, since the beginning of the 1st season . And Me and my husband love all the original cast. Please, don't let Halstead leave the show. And Yes losing Al ( Elias Koteus) really bad, he is one of our favorite character. I am always excited to watch the next episode. Please don't let anybody leave the show. Of course not Hank or either Trudy, or Jay, they lead the show. Chicago night are the only series I followed every Wed, and I 'm looking forward to watch the new episodes.

It was diffetrent when erin left .... not such a big loss. I agree with others here ... all the actors are great and i was more sad when Roman left, and if we lose jay, hank, and trudy, that would necessitate a channel change for me.

Enough is enough is they take him off I am thur with watching this show I love to watch Chicago Ned. Chicago Pd and Chicago fire but they keep on taking off all the originals characters that made theses shows and if he goes off I’m just thur with Chicago Pd. I will watch something else in that time slot and when they took Otis off Chicago fire that was another wrong move and when Leslie shay went off that was. Another no no. Wtf are they trying to do shut theses shows down. The same thing with Chicago Med.

My interest for the show waned when Sophia Bush left! It was a great story line with Voight taking her in as a teen. She was the only “family” Voight had left. Plus she and Halstead had good chemistry! Not a big fan of Lindsay’s replacement!

Love all of them. TV show love killing off people. It is getting crazy. Makes me not want to watch TV. So stressful. Love this show and the group they have. It's ok if they need after time but stop killing them so they can not come back.

Burgess has shown she's unsure about full commit to intelligence, just like rusek has shown he's not ready to commit to her too much time has been wasted on them, Jay takes everything too personal and constantly second guesses voight same with Upton..think it's time for a new squad the new gal and Atwater are fine

Jay is the only reason I watch PD. If he is gone so am I. Can't stand Voight or Upton. In their small minds they are always right. Ruzek is stupid. Jay has always been the punching bag and scapegoat for PD. This should change. JLSoffer is a fantastic actor and deserves better.
