Hope and Liam need to be putting money into a college fund because their daughter Beth is, in reality, alive!

“If you could bottle tears and sell them, we would probably make a fortune, but this poor girl has done nothing but cry, cry and cry,” said B&B producer Casey Kasprzyk when introducing Annika Noelle (Hope).

Currently, Liam is playing surrogate dad on B&B to a little girl, but he doesn’t know he’s truly her biological dad, too! “I really appreciate having babies on the set,” Clifton says. “They make us better actors because we never know what they’re going to do in scenes.”

The Bold and the Beautiful Cast

The big question on the minds of B&B fans is when will Hope (Annika Noelle) learn that her daughter Beth is truly alive? “I can say that there will be a resolution, a great payoff this summer,” promised head writer/executive producer Brad Bell, joking that it would be in the summer of “2022” before adding on a more serious note, “It’s coming and I hope you’ll love it!”

Tom’s real-life son, Zane, had played Will until he was aged up a few years and is now being played by George. One small problem? Tom confessed to fans that she never told her son that he’d been recast. Oops. “I was watching the show one day and Zane heard George be called ‘Will’ and he said, ‘But I’m Will! Why did you fire me?’ He’s going to be in therapy at 35!”

There was speculation that Donna could be re-paired either of her two ex-husbands – Eric (John McCook) or Justin (Aaron D. Spears). “It ain’t over till it’s over,” said Gareis.

“I’ve learned a lot from working with babies on the show,” says Wood, who became a real-life mom earlier this year.

In real life, Mills is wed to actor Orson Bean (Desperate Housewives). “He’s writing a play and I think it will be great!”

Fans asked Katherine Kelly Lang (Brooke) about her beauty secrets and queried John McCook (Eric) as to how he manages to stay so “studly”?

“Stay healthy, fit and take of yourself, [know] what you put into your body, and how much you sleep, drink lots of water,” advised Lang.

“What Kelly said, especially about sleep,” said McCook. “I sleep all the time!”

Thomas’ obsession with Hope (Annika Noelle) turned deadly when poor Emma, who had learned the truth about baby Beth, drove to her death thanks to Thomas. We saw her lifeless eyes, but is Emma most sincerely dead? “I’m going with dead, but you never know,” said Sioux.

“I met Brad [Bell, head writer/executive producer] a few years ago,” Atkinson says. “I can’t believe that he’s written such a dark character. He’s been so much fun to play!”

The Young and the Restless Cast

Y&R has spent the last few months bringing back past favorites including Michelle Stafford (Phyllis), Melissa Claire Egan (Chelsea), Greg Rikaart (Adam), and cast Mark Grossman as the newest Adam! Eric Braeden (Victor) playfully admitted that he doesn’t always know cast members’ names until they’ve been on the show a decade. “It’s hard for us ‘oldsters,’” quipped Melody Thomas Scott, who celebrated 40 years as Nikki earlier this year. “Sometimes they don’t last and we might be working at different times.”

The Abbott clan – which in the past has included both Phyllis and Christine via marriage – got a standing ovation at the fan gala. Maitland gave the regrets of Marla Adams (Dina) who couldn’t attend as she’d undergone a recent procedure related to her heart. “She’s doing really well and asked me to please tell everyone it breaks her heart not to be here! Come say hi to us and we’ll pass along your hellos to her!” Later this year, Bergman will celebrate 30 years as Jack Abbott! P.S. These five performers have nine Daytime Emmys among them!

Viewers don’t hear it much on the show anymore, but “Through the Eyes of Love” played when Scott and Braeden came up on stage.

Scott, who recently joined Instagram, told fans, “What a crazy world! It’s not Twitter by any means! I don’t know if I’m going to stay on it. It takes over your life!”

“We’re in beautiful, downtown Burbank,” quipped Braeden, a nod to a remark Johnny Carson used to make when he hosted The Tonight Show on NBC.

Davidson heaped heartfelt gratitude to the fans for their support after Paul was dropped to recurring status last year. “Your support has been unbelievable,” he said.

Bell thanked Y&R and B&B fan club president Cathy Tomas for all her hard work in making the weekend happen. “She never gets enough thanks,” Bell said. “Cathy unites us all together. She’s the link between us and you.”

Three lucky fans won scripts that were autographed by Case and her longtime leading man Joshua Morrow (Nick). “These are ‘Shick’ scripts,” says Case. (“Shick” is a combination of Sharon and Nick’s names.)

“This Adam, let me tell you,” Vilasuso said, staying in character. “I don’t know about him. I have to spy on him. For good reason!”

This was Grossman’s first Y&R fan event. Case, who’s celebrating her 25th anniversary on Y&R later this year, came to the fan event with her father.

“This show is all about family,” Goddard said. “We’ve had dads on the show who were cameramen and now, their kids work on the show.”

After introducing the first several cast members as her “favorite,” Ordway acknowledged, “Everybody is my favorite!”

“We want to give it up to everyone who donated to the Hope in a Suitcase charity [in the lobby],” said James, who is celebrating his 15th year in Genoa City. “It’s a very special organization that provides children and teens with comfort items.”

One lucky donor had her name drawn in a raffle. The prize? Having a future character on the show named after them! So, watch for the name “Sandy Diamond” to pop up in a future episode!
