Best Lines of the Week (June 30-July 6): ‘I’m on TV!’

This past holiday weekend, TV and streaming gave us all the shows to help distract us from the heat. We received fresh episodes from shows like grown-ish along with new premieres and live events. As always, these shows gave exciting lines that almost made it impossible to leave the house and watch the fireworks.

We were able to see glimpses of the past and present this week. Live on the Fourth of July, we watched Alfonso Ribeiro host the celebration at the capitol. On Netflix, we learned about WHAM! in a new documentary that shares the highs and lows of the iconic band’s journey.

Whether it was scripted like the thrilling new drama about a kidnapping in The Clearing or unscripted like the classic The Price is Right (which never fails to provide heartwarming moments), we collected out favorite lines from this week that is bound to make you feel all the emotions of the holiday weekend. Read below to see our top picks!
