Over 100 kittens have cleared the shelter and were drafted as participants in Kitten Bowl VII. Hallmark Channel once again hosts the national rescue pet event, premiering Sunday, February 2.

This year’s event features kittens rescued from across the country, with four teams competing for the Feline Football Championship. The 2020 game also marks a milestone of more than 40,000 shelter pet adoptions since Kitten Bowl premiered in 2014.

TV personality, author, and animal advocate Beth Stern returns as host for this year’s event from Hallmark’s Kitten Bowl Stadium. Co-commentators, Jill Wagner and Brennan Elliott will call the Kitten Bowl VII play-by-play action, with appearances by NFL quarterbacks Boomer Esaison (Commissioner of the Feline Football League) and Rashad Jennings, picking their personal favorites of the feline championship game!
