Season 1 of Top of the Lake earned critical acclaim across the board, especially for Elisabeth Moss (Mad Men) who plays Detective Robin Griffin in the Sundance series. Above is the first look at Season 2, with an image of Moss, reprising her role.

The mystery thriller is set to return in 2017, and will be set four years after the events of the first season. The show originally debuted in 2013, about the mystery surrounding a young girl when she goes missing in the bush of New Zealand.
Since the show is slated to return, a premiere date should be on the near horizon.
