November is approaching and so is the Season 6 premiere of Netflix’s House of Cards.

In a set of newly-released photos, the streaming service is revealing a new set of characters played by Oscar-nominated actors Diane Lane and Greg Kinnear. The powerhouse duo will play siblings Annette and Bill Shepherd, former heirs and now heads of the industrial conglomerate known as Shepherd Unlimited.

So how will they come into play? They’ll attempt to influence Claire Underwood’s (Robin Wright) presidency, of course. The Shepherds are described as having family foundations that wield a strong “behind-the-scenes force” on America’s political landscape.

In January of this year, it was announced that the two big name actors would join the talented cast of the series, which is set to end after this season. Their casting came not long after Kevin Spacey’s firing as the lead Frank Underwood, following assault allegations.

But Lane and Kinnear aren’t the only new stars joining the political drama: American Crime Story: The Assassination of Gianni Versace breakout Cody Fern is also set to appear. The up-and-coming actor will play another part of the Shepherd family — Annette’s son Duncan Shepherd.

Described as an “ambitious and devoted son,” Duncan’s role will represent the upcoming generation of “DC power players.” To see more of the new characters scroll down. And be sure to check in on all the drama when House of Cards returns for its final season November 2.
