On the season premiere of The Simpsons, Homer’s marriage to Marge is on the rocks, so he hooks up with a cute young pharmacist named Candace, voiced by Girls star Lena Dunham (Hannah).
As executive producer Al Jean told Variety, “[I]t’s discovered after all these years Homer has narcolepsy and it’s an incredible strain on the marriage. Homer and Marge legally separate, and Homer falls in love with his pharmacist….”
And just recently, Dunham revealed a photo of her cartoon character on Instagram:
Other Girls also pop up to lend their voices in the episode: Allison Williams (Marnie), Zosia Mamet (Shoshanna) and Jemima Kirke (Jessa).
