First Look: Garret Dillahunt as ‘The Mindy Project’s New Temp Doctor

A new doctor is in!

With Mindy (Mindy Kaling) out on maternity leave, Raising Hope vet Garret Dillahunt joins the Hulu comedy in a recurring role on October 6 as her temporary replacement, Dr. Jody Kimball.

“He came to New York from Georgia under mysterious circumstances and is beloved by everyone in the office,” Kaling says. “I’ve been a fan of Garret’s for a long time, and I believe it’s one of the funniest bits of casting that I’ve ever been a part of.”
