What’s Worth Watching: Fake Off Gives You a History Lesson

This show is one of reality TV’s undiscovered gems (possibly because it airs on truTV). Recall, the main thrust of the series and the concept of “faking” is that troops of people create vignettes involving dance and acrobatics and fight choreography and visual effects, all built around a central theme. Tonight’s theme is “Moments in History,” giving rise to some incredible performances about the roots of hip-hop and a literally electrifying one (it’s the story of electricity).
