A New Baddie and an Old Icon Join ‘The Flash’!
Warner Bros. TV’s A Night of DC Entertainment was the gift that kept on giving to Comic-Con fans, piling on reveals for the crowd in the San Diego Convention Center’s Hall H event. During The Flash portion of the evening, it was revealed that iconic villain Zoom would be Season 2’s big bad, and that Teddy Sears (Masters of Sex) would be joining the show’s sophomore year as Jay Garrick—the original Flash from the comic books.
In addition, it was also announced that The Messengers’ Shantel VanSanten is set to hit Central City as Patty Spivot, a cop partnered with Joe West (Jesse L. Martin)…and infatuated with a certain Scarlet Speedster. Watch out, Iris!
The Flash returns Tuesday, Oct. 6, 8/7c, The CW.
