Bones is Back for Season 11, Fox Confirms
It was once again down to the wire, but new deals are now in place for Bones–and stars Emily Deschanel and David Boreanaz–to return for next season.
That means Bones will enter its 11th season next year. (Season 10 concludes on June 11). Jonathan Collier and Michael Peterson will serve as showrunners next season, as Stephen Nathan steps back to work on other projects. According to the network, Nathan hopes to return later in the year.
Hart Hanson is the creator and executive producer of Bones, which is also exec produced by Nathan, Collier, Peterson and Randy Zisk.
TJ Thyne, Michaela Conlin, Tamara Taylor and John Boyd are also back for next year. Although its ratings have declined, Bones–which follows the unlikely partnership between a highly skilled forensic anthropologist and an FBI agent–continues to serve as a solid utility player for the network.
