Anthony Bourdain: Parts Unknown, “Korea” (Sunday, April 26, 9/8c, CNN)

Anthony Bourdain has the greatest job in the world. The chef, author, and host of CNN’s Parts Unknown travels the globe to spotlight the unique cultures and cuisine our planet has to offer. In tonight’s fifth season premiere, Bourdain visits South Korea for the first time in 10 years and reflects on the evolution of Seoul into a modern day hub of popular culture. When it comes to the local flavor, Bourdain’s plate is full when he samples delicious local fried chicken and a vintage stew made out of Spam, baked beans, frankfurters, ramen noodles, and Kimchi. This season’s other exotic destinations include Scotland, Madagascar, and Budapest, where he will dine on a pancake topped with chicken liver and bone marrow. Bourdain also embarks on a few domestic adventures when he explores Miami, New Jersey, and Hawaii. Buckle up!
