Stephen Curry and the Golden State Warriors take on LeBron James and the Cleveland Cavaliers in the NBA Finals

LeBron James and the Cleveland Cavaliers face Steph Curry and the Golden State Warriors in the NBA Finals.

If that sounds familiar, it’s because it’s the third consecutive meeting between the Cavs and the Warriors in the Finals. It’s the first time in NBA history that the same two teams competed in the Finals for three straight years, and it’s the seventh straight NBA Finals appearance for LeBron James. The Warriors won in six games in 2015, then the Cavs came back from a 3-1 series deficit to win a Game 7 for the ages in the 2016 Finals. Who will win the rubber match?

ABC has exclusive coverage of the NBA Finals with Game 1 on Thursday, June 1, at 9/8c. Games will also air on WatchESPN and the ESPN App. Mike Breen, Jeff Van Gundy, Mark Jackson and Doris Burke are the broadcast team.
