The Good Wife, “Loser Edit” (Sunday, April 5, 9/8c, CBS)

Winning the election for State’s Attorney was a cakewalk compared to this. Now, Alicia Florrick (Julianna Margulies) must face her past head-on in the form of leaked emails, thanks to a cyber attack on the Florrick, Agos and Associates office. When Alicia sits down with journalist Petra Moritz (returning guest star Lily Rabe), she is ambushed by questions about her sensitive emails that contain not only confidential work information, but also scandalous personal confessions. Meanwhile, Diane Lockhart (Christine Baranski) pursues an especially topical case involving gay rights versus religious freedom, and an investigator begins to poke around to uncover evidence Diane used to get coworker Cary Agos (Matt Czuchry) out of prison. Now in its sixth season, The Good Wife continues to prove that it’s not just good television, it’s great.
