Jonathan Mangum, Wayne Brady and Tiffany Coyne attempt to make a deal with an audience of nerds on the Daytime Emmy Award-winning game show

As anyone who has ever watched Let’s Make a Deal knows, sometimes the prize behind the curtain isn’t such a winning option. Like the dreaded-slash-hilarious Zonks, those goofy awards that unwitting contestants often wind up with instead of cash or cars. They’re a blast for us, but maybe not so much for the poor schmucks who just gave up a home spa for a pair of cheese shoes.

On Tuesday, March 14, the gag takes a geekier turn when host Wayne Brady and his LMAD crew serve up a “Nerds Rule” episode. Celebrating the increasingly cool subculture that has given us The Big Bang Theory, the expanded Marvel Universe and half of the CW’s programming slate, Brady, model Tiffany Coyne, musical director Cat Gray and announcer Jonathan Mangum will be rocking their own dork-couture costumes and surprising one player with a custom-made Zonk comic book featuring the team as superheroes.

And we’re not talking some low-end cartoony creation. Zonk mastermind Jersey Feimster has created something so stylish, it would fit right in on—and probably fly right off of—the shelves next to Superman and Harley Quinn. Here’s an exclusive look!

Cool, right? Nerds know how to get it done!
