Freeform's Summer Slate: 'Shadowhunters,' 'The Fosters' and 'Stitchers' Return; 'The Bold Type' Premieres

Freeform is bringing back all your favorites for the summer, as the network announced their summer schedule on March 6.

Shadowhunters, which airs its midseason finale tonight, will return on Monday, June 5 along with the anticipated Season 3 return of Stitchers, which Freeform teases will finally reveal the "true purpose" of the Stitchers program.

Currently airing Season 4, The Fosters will premiere Season 5 on Tuesday, July 11. The fifth season includes the family drama's milestone 100th episode.

And finally, The Bold Type, a new drama inspired by Joanna Coles the CCO of Hearst Magazines follows a fictional women's magazine named Scarlet. The series stars Katie Stevens (Faking It), Aisha Dee (Chasing Life), Meghann Fahy, Sam Page, Matt Ward and Melora Hardin as Jacqueline, EIC of Scarlet Magazine. Coles serves as an executive producer with Sarah Watson, David Bernad, Ruben Fleischer and Holly Whidden.
